Immigrant/Resident (21 min.) tells the stories of three immigrants in Porto Alegre who came from Venezuela, Senegal, and Haiti. The film seeks to connect this more recent wave of immigration with past migratory movements. It has been screened at several festivals and received the Best Screenplay and Best Editing awards at the Assembleia Legislativa Showcase of the 2025 Gramado Film Festival, Best Film at the 2026 Festival Imigratória in Lisbon, the Arquivo Award (Official Jury) presented by the Cinemateca Catarinense at the 2025 Mostra.Doc, and Best Live-Action Film at the 2025 CUCA Festival de Curtas UEMG Cataguases.
